Pick-up in Cairo in the morning; ride in a jeep passing Alexandria, El Alamein and Marsa Matrouh to the oasis of Siwa; arrival in the early evening; dinner and overnight in the hotel "Shali Lodge" in the city of Siwa
10/29/07:
Sightseeing tour in Siwa: visit of the Old City Shali, the market place and Siwa House (small museum about Siwa); visit of the Tempel of Amoun (also know as the oracle of Siwa) and Cleopatras Bath; Sightseeing of Gebel Mawta (Moutain of the Death) with its graves from pharaonic times; tour to Fatnas Island; after sunset dinner and overnight in the dunes close to Siwa
After breakfast we continue our sightseeing tour of Siwa; tour to Abu Sharouf and Old Zeytoun; drive through the Great Sandsea to Bir Wahed; dinner and overnight in the desert close to Siwa
10/31/07:
In the morning departure on the old caravan road in direction Oasis Bahariya; on our way we visit the deserted oases El Arish (with a pretty view over the oasis itself), Bahrein (Oasis of the Two lakes) and Nuwamisa (Oasis of the Moskitos); there you will also have the possibility to visit some tombs; dinner and overnight in the hotel "El Beshmo Lodge" in Bahariya
After breakfast departure to the Black Desert; drive to the Bedouin Villages of Al Hayz and Cristal Moutain; from there offroad to El Agabat; dinner and overnight in El Agabat
11/2/07:
In the morning ride through the Qarawin dunes to Magic Spring and to Wadi Kebir (Big Valley); from there departure to the White Desert; Sightseeing of the White Desert and drive to Farafra Oasis; tour of Farafra Oasis (Badrs museum and a bath in a hot spring); departure to the Western White Desert; dinner and overnight in the Western White Desert
In the morning departure back to the Oasis Bahariya; arrival around midday; lunch and rest; in the afternoon sightseeing tour of Bahariya (Salt lake, English Moutain, Pyramid Moutain as well as gardens and dunes of Bahariya); dinner, bedouin music night and overnight in the dunes close to Bahariya
