1st day: You arrive at around midday in Bahariya; after a welcome lunch we start directly to Siwa; we will use the old caravan route Siwa - Bahariya; from time to time we would leave the caravan route to search for really old seashells or desert dollars; on our way we would also pass by the oases Sutra and Nuwamisa; our camp we would make close to Bahrein oasis; in the oases you can still find some mummies, which are laying there since roman times; for dinner under an amazing starlit sky we will have chicken barbecue...
2nd day: After breakfast we start to discover the surroundings of Bahrein and we would continue our way to the beautiful oasis El Aresh (because of safty reasons we can only go there with at least 2 vehicles); there you can go to discover the oasis or you could just enjoy a beautiful view; our lunch we will have there; we continue on the old caravan route to Siwa, where we would arrive around afternoon or early evening; depending on our arrival time we make our camp directly in the dunes close to Siwa or we have a short local tour in Siwa before doing that; you would spend another night under the stars...
3rd day: After breakfast it is time to discover Siwa; Shali (the old city of Siwa) and the market square; after that you would visit the famous tempel of Amun, also called oracle of Amun, which told Alexander the Great about a prosperous future; Cleopatras Bath, in which you can still have a wonderful bath; tour through the oasis and we also drive with you through the dunes; after dinner you could take your time to discover Siwa by yourself; overnight in a local hotel.
4th day: After breakfast we continue our sightseeing program in Siwa; moutain of the deads; after lunch it would be time to say "good bye"...
From Siwa you could go back to Cairo, passing Marsa Matrouh and Alexandria or you could go back with us to Bahariya. More information you find here.
Important information:
For using the old caravan route from Bahariya to Siwa we need a permission from the Military Service of Egypt. For getting this permission we need copies of your passports around 3 weeks before the tour. Furthermore this permission costs USD 10 per person per day, which you have to pay additionally to our tour price.

We can organize the mentioned Siwa tour also starting from Siwa and going to Bahariya. An advantage would be that we could get the permission from the Military Service right before starting to Bahariya.
Also, you could think about combining the Siwa tour with a three day trip to the White Desert.

Please note that we can visit El Aresh only with at least 2 jeeps. This means that you should be at least 6 participants.
